Offer your sewa

🧒 Seva for children
Small things, done without being asked. None of these needs a place to be arranged or a grown-up to sign anything.
Water for the birds
Keep a shallow bowl of clean water outside and change it every morning.
Look after a plant
Choose one plant at home and water it yourself. It is yours to remember.
Touch your parents’ feet
Before school and before bed. This is the seva Matru Pitru Pujan Divas is about.
Tidy without being asked
Put away your own plate and your own shoes. Nobody has to notice.
Share your tiffin
Give a share of what you brought to someone who has less that day.
Teach one shloka
Learn a short shloka, then teach it to a younger child until they can say it alone.
A day without an unkind word
One whole day. If it breaks, begin again tomorrow — that is the practice.
Ten pieces of litter
Pick up ten pieces on the way home, with an adult, and wash your hands after.
Gita quizzes and contests
Quizzes on the Gita, and painting, drawing, singing and video contests — separate entries for children, youth, women and elders.
